Ahh youth. Where the heck did you go?
This is a photo of me (in white San Beda shirt) and my friend Jhose taken a loooong way back. And by a looooong way back, I meant 2 years ago.
LOL that was the time when I took a break from being a game geek, before I got interested in j-fashion, and actually studied what had to be studied. Also, I lived a shojo manga-like life, no thanks to my trusted friends. 生徒会長様 ♥♥♥ Also, FOREHEAD!!

hello
hello new friends again. ♥
I've met a lot of awesome people this year!
Because of that I was kinda inspired to send out some new year cards..
But crap, it's too late to organize it now.
Now, what shall I do to please you....
Hmmm.. I.. I could record myself singing Shakira.. or Ayu.. or KinKi..
No. D:

Mana Khemia
yes, I'm still playing, sorry.
I'm in Chapter 9 now.
It's driving me craaaaazy~~~ D:
Also, Pamela ♥
I used to keep her because I just like eternally young looking girl characters,
but she totally saved in that one boss fight because of her immunity to physical attacks.
Speaking of boss fights, gameFAQs totally saved me too with the stupid Glass Dragon fight.
It was the first time my whole party got wiped out o.0

Soma Bringer

Cadenza ♥
I'm in Act 3.
I think I'll stay away from dungeon crawlers for a while after I finish it.
See you later, Etrian Oddysey.

hair
I am tooooooooooooooorn.
Should I get a straight perm?
Ahaha, I only want my fringe to be straightened!
I need to hide my forehead!
I want the remaining parts to be curly, wavy, straight, or whatever whenever I want to.
Maybe I should just get some wigs. D:
I.. I'll have to consult some magazines. S:
Unless you have a smashing idea? ♥

Saya no Uta
Gyaaa~
This game. Hm.
Lol, incoherence again.
Anyway, this game isn't as scary as people say.
Or, maybe I'm still not in the scary part?
The art is awesome though.
Characters look great, and the backgrounds look disgusting.
I don't play with the music on, because it might scare me more than the visuals itself.
Maybe?
Maybe I'll try playing with the game music on.

Ooookay~
I'll go look for hairstyles now.
pamela ♥

Soma's an action dungeon crawler, EO is purely turn based. If you don't like difficult games, STAY AWAY FROM ETRIAN ODYSSEY. Oh dear god. It really is the Ninja Gaiden of RPGs.

The game is just made of 100% pure Grind. In a way, EO2 is better and worse. Some stuff is easier. Force Skills can be better than Boost depending on which character type you're talking about.

EO also has even LESS of a plot than Soma Bringer too.

okay.
then, see you never, etrian oddysey. unless of course, I run out of games to play.

I was supposed to get that game when I bought my DS, but that thing being called a dungeon crawler scared me. Ack. And it's first person too? D: *shudders at the memory of phantasy star*

Oh my...If you've got bad memories of Phantasy Star I, I can see you curling up in the corner and beating Etrian Odyssey with your Taxation book.

Ah well...There's that new Shin Megami Tensei game on the horizon. It looks like Dead Space or Bioshock with the wonky helmets. I want it.

Actually, the horrible thing with Phantasy Star is the lack of map. And easily accessible compass. Good thing the dungeons are at an okay length. I say the insanity bar only went up to 63%.

Ah I've read about that. Black hole in South Pole. The penguins must have dug too much and hit some relic that went berserk and became a black hole.

Also, I'm considering playing Persona. It's got a map and a direction indicator thing, so maybe it's not that bad? Plus I want to play the 4 games in order.

Maybe EO has a chance in your play book after all...

Etrian Odyssey is all ABOUT making a map. That's all your touch screen exists for in EO. Plus you get a bunch of fun little icons plus you have the ability to add notes.

The thing that drove me crazy is I couldn't make ONE super character that could do everything I wanted. Like for Alchemists(the mages of EO) you can't make one that specializes in ALL elements, you end up making 1 for each element. I don't know how anyone could make a Sword using Dark Hunter, they're so made for Whips.

If you get stuck in the games, I can give you all my party specs.

Ahhh why do I want to replay Mana Khemia every time someone mentions it. The poster on my wall isn't helping muchfdfdkl. Anyway! I don't remember what happens in chapter 9, but I do remember that awful glass dragon. I wanted to punch it. Zweis Monde is so much worse though. ;;

Ack. They have more bosses with gimmicks?!
That's fun, but not the way they did it with glass dragon.
I mean, After my fire attack, he went berserk, killed everybody, and I never had the chance to see that he had changed weaknesses.
After the first time, I felt like leaving it alone, since trekking to his location is annoying anyway, but haha I need more recipes ♫

Is Mana Khemia 2 as awesome as this? I'll have to start searching all over for it now.

Oh yes, Mana Khemia loves its annoying fights.
I think everyone tends to get slaughtered by the glass dragon on their first try. It's kind of amusing... in a terrible way. But yes, at least most of the nasty fights give nice rewards~

I'd say it's not quite as amazing, possibly because I sorta missed the party members from the first game, but it's still really good. I'll uh, stop myself from rambling about it and just say it's worth it if you don't mind being traumatised by a creep in a fursuit and a giant guy who thinks he's a fairy.
